Uses of personal data

 

Project+ attaches great importance to the security and confidentiality of the processing of the personal data that we collect.

Project+ is the controller of your personal data (hereinafter the “Controller”). Project+ declares that it complies, in its capacity as Controller, with Belgian legislation on the protection of privacy, as well as the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter the “GDPR”) from the date of their entry into force.

 

What is personal data?

 

The GDPR defines personal data as follows:

any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an “identifiable natural person” is deemed to be a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more specific elements specific to their physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity.

This GDPR definition is used for the personal data referred to in this document.

 

What personal data are processed?

 

We collect and process various personal data concerning people who wish to contact us. This concerns the following personal data:

First and last name;

Email address.

 

What are the purposes and basis of the processing?

 

Your first and last name and email address are collected and processed in order to be used in commercial communications, on the basis of your prior consent.

 

Duration of processing?

 

We store and process personal data for the period necessary depending on the purposes of the processing and the contractual relationships between us.

 

Non-personal identification information

 

We may collect non-personal information about all users who interact with the site. This information may include: browser name, computer type, technical information about the means of connection to our site (operating system, internet service provider used, etc.) and other similar information.

 

Internet Browser Cookies

 

Our site uses "cookies" to improve the user experience. The user's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them (shopping cart, etc.). The user can choose to instruct their browser to refuse cookies or to receive an alert when cookies are sent. If the user refuses cookies, some parts of the site may no longer function properly.

Right of access and consultation

You have the right to be aware, at any time and free of charge, of your personal data, as well as the way in which we use it.

 

Right of rectification, erasure and limitation

You have the right to communicate your personal data to us or not. You also always have the right to ask us to rectify, complete or delete your personal data.

 

Right to object

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons.

 

Right to free data transfer

You have the right to obtain your Personal Data that we have processed in a structured, common and machine-readable format and/or to transfer them to other controllers.

 

Right to withdraw consent

Insofar as the processing is based on your prior consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent.

 

Automated decisions and profiling

The processing of your Personal Data is not subject to profiling. We do not subject you to automated decisions either.

Complaints

You have the right to file a complaint with the Belgian Privacy Commission: Commission for the Protection of Privacy, Rue de la Presse 35, B-1000 Brussels, Tel. +32 (0)2 274 48 00, Fax +32 (0)2 274 48 35, email: commission@privacycommission.be.

This complaint is without prejudice to proceedings before a civil court.

In the event that you suffer damage as a result of the processing of your personal data, you can take action for compensation.

 

Transfer to third parties

 

Your personal data is not transferred to a third party.

Project+ does not sell your personal data.
